STEPNEMBER4 (STEPN & STEPN GO)
A birthday, a tribute, and a $14,000 treasure hunt, STEPNEMBER4 brought four years of motion to life: this month marked a historic moment in the FSL ecosystem, the fourth anniversary of STEPN and the first birthday of STEPN GO. To celebrate, the team launched STEPNEMBER4, a month-long event that fused nostalgia, culture, and past crypto events into one of the boldest community activations to date.

At the heart of STEPNEMBER4 were the Sneaker Skins: 12 in total, released over four weeks, each one a visual nod to iconic crypto moments. Meme coins, ATHs, SBF, and even BlackRock, nothing was off-limits. The skins were loud, clever, and deeply rooted in Web3 culture.
Every week, we dropped a new capsule of three skins, with a rotating set of mechanics to unlock them, some in STEPN, others in STEPN GO. Players had to mint, enhance, burn, spend Energy, and more. No week was the same, and that was the point. The campaign rewarded activity and strategy.

While players were grinding for skins, a secret game unfolded behind the scenes: the STEPNEMBER4 Seed Phrase Hunt, one of the most ambitious community challenges ever launched by FSL.
Two wallets, one for STEPN, one for STEPN GO, were protected by 12-word seed phrases. Clues to those phrases were hidden across visuals, tweets, NFTs, and announcements, each containing subtle indicators of a word, its position, and the app it belonged to.
The prize? A 1:1 Genesis Sneaker locked inside each wallet, plus up to $14,000 in GMT for those who could crack the code and hold all six corresponding skins. Every clue mattered. The community jumped into detective mode, screenshotting tweets, analyzing websites, decoding images, and cross-referencing clues across Discord and X. The hunt was on, and it’s still going. 👀
STEPNEMBER4 was all about the community showing up: not just to mint or run, but to engage deeply. People flexed their skin collections, shared theories, created guides, and elevated the vibe across the ecosystem. Thousands of players took part (some casually, some obsessively), and all of them contributed to the moment. And while the event wraps up this month, the energy it unleashed continues, and STEPNEMBER4 proved once again that we’re still here. Still moving. Still building.

FSL ID
September turned FSL ID into a treasure map. With the GG Box campaign in full swing, users across the ecosystem opened Boxes to reveal rewards ranging from GGUSD and APY Boost Coupons to Common and Genesis Sneakers, including two of the rarest Sneakers ever created.

The Comfort 1/1 and Resilience 1/1 Genesis Sneakers, each with four sockets in a single stat and Epic-tier attribute, were hidden inside GG Boxes this month. Only one of each exists, and both have already been unboxed. But the message was clear: every GG Box has the potential to contain something epic, and this might not be the last time we see surprises like those.
Each Friday brought a new wave of rewards to eligible users simply for holding GGUSD in their FSL ID wallet: just open your Boxes and see what’s inside, with some of them containing 1,000$. From APY Boost Coupons and Shoeboxes to mystery items and Sneakers, the campaign continued to redefine passive participation.
The GG Box campaign also expanded into 2184, where players who reached Level 10 before September 22 unlocked a game-specific GG Box loaded with in-game items like EXP Elixir, Super Useful Egg, and more. It was another example of how the FSL ecosystem is increasingly interconnected, where playing a game can unlock multiple rewards, and holding stablecoins can deliver gaming gear.
To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, FSL launched a limited-time GMT Pay Box event. For every GMT Pay Card purchased over a two-week period, users can receive special Boxes with rewards like:
- iPhone 17 (GGUSD equivalent)
- MoonCake Skin OG Sneakers
- APY Boost CouponsKeys, and more
The number of Boxes scales by card value (up to 5 per card) and they’ll all be openable at the end of the campaign. With real-world prizes and seasonal flair, it’s the sweetest GMT Pay drop yet.
The month also introduced a massive $100,000 challenge giveaway through a new partnership with @UpscaleTrade, the prop trading platform that gives users access to capital without risking their own funds. Logging in via FSL ID and completing a few simple tasks gave participants a shot at winning up to $50,000 in a single draw, bridging real-world finance with Web3 identity in a seamless experience.
Meanwhile, GGUSD itself continued to build momentum. A new partnership with Stabble added a GGUSD–USDC–USDT liquidity pool, offering best-in-class swap rates and yield potential on a DEX built specifically for stablecoins. With support across multiple chains and backed 1:1 by U.S. Treasuries, GGUSD is increasingly becoming the go-to asset for secure, scalable rewards inside and beyond the FSL ecosystem.

FSL Game Hub
September was a milestone month for the FSL Game Hub, as Starlets leveled up from digital rewards to real-world value. The first Merch Coupon drop let players redeem $25 and $50 discounts in the FSL Merch Store directly through Starlet Packages, and they sold out in under 20 minutes. More are on the way.
New features kept the momentum going. Freeze Streaks launched to protect daily check-in progress, auto-activating when needed and unlocking the new Freeze Streak Trophy. For the most consistent players, milestone trophies for 100, 200, 300 days (and even a full year) were also introduced.
Step Boosts added another layer of strategy, letting players multiply Starlet earnings during STEPN sessions. Activating a boost also unlocked the exclusive Step Boost Trophy, rewarding smart movement with more than just points.
Players who linked their FSL ID to Game Hub received a surprise GG Box drop, filled with GGUSD, Sneakers, Boost Coupons, Keys, and more, another example of the growing link between effort and ecosystem rewards.
And just for fun? The official Tadokami Telegram sticker pack dropped, giving Lone Frog fans a new way to flex their moods in chats across the FSL community.

MOOAR
September belonged to Project Callisto, the multi-phase Sneaker auction series expanding the lore, utility, and future of the STEPNverse, one drop at a time. After launching in late August with the Earth Sneaker, Callisto’s first full month delivered three more bold designs, each one pushing the narrative and style further into uncharted space.
Each week, 50 Sneakers dropped via MOOAR Auctions, giving bidders not only a shot at owning a piece of Sneaker history, but also bidding rewards, STEPN Background and GGBoxes just for participating. No win required, just show up and shoot your shot.
Week 2 introduced the Rocket Sneaker, built for speed and designed to break limits. Week 3 launched the Astronaut Sneaker, made for exploration and built for those willing to go beyond the known. Each phase delivered its own visual theme, vibe, and identity.
Then came Phase 2, kicking off with a shift in tone and perspective. The Week 4 Sneaker, designed for orbit, vision, and observation, marked a turning point in the Callisto journey. From grounded steps to interstellar curiosity, the project began revealing its broader narrative arc.
With each phase, the universe grows. More Sneakers are coming. The story isn’t over.
Outside the Sneakerverse, MOOAR also expanded into gaming through a new partnership with Tales of Meteora (@talesofmeteora), the first Play2Stake MMORPG. Players were invited to explore FSL Town, a custom zone in TOM’s Alpha release, complete with guardian appearances from B3MO and Tadokami. 500 whitelist spots were made available through TaskOn quests, giving explorers their first steps into the world of on-chain adventuring, powered by FSL.
The month wrapped with a fresh dose of sneaker culture in the METAZ (@metaz_io) x MOOAR campaign. METAZ turns real collectible sneakers into NFTs, and the collab offered three ways to win: TaskOn quests, a Raffle Mint (Sep 24–30), and a ticket collection race with tokenized Jordans, Discord perks, and prizes over $1,000.

2148
This month, 2184 pushed its strategic frontier forward with new events, major burns, and another round of Guild War preparation. The battlefield stayed hot, and the rewards even hotter.
The headline update came with the launch of Guild War Season 4, as guilds rallied and strategized for a shot at leaderboard glory. Registration opened early in the month, and the return of the Prediction Event added another layer of competitive foresight to the campaign.
Meanwhile, the newly reworked World Boss made its debut in a community damage challenge with 3,000 GMT up for grabs. Players were invited to battle, post their damage scores, and compete for victory and visibility.
As the fight unfolded, 2184’s broader ecosystem kept evolving. The 2184 dApp officially launched, bringing the game into the FSL ID platform and opening the gates to a wider player base. Those who reached Level 10 by September 22 earned an exclusive 2184 GG Box loaded with items like Super Useful Eggs, Slimes, and more.
The community also embraced a brand new mechanic: the Lucky Pot, a limited-time raffle-style system where players could list treasures and others could take a chance at claiming them with Lucky Pot Coins. If the pot filled, bonus rewards were triggered; if it didn’t, everyone got their coins and items back. A perfect blend of risk, reward, and randomness.
And as a final milestone, the community officially passed the mark of 100 million Slimes burned, a massive indicator of engagement and activity across the game. From elite Muddies to high-stakes pots, 2184 proved once again that this post-apocalyptic battleground isn’t just surviving, it’s thriving.

IRL Events
September wasn’t just about digital milestones — the community also came together offline.
In Moscow, Russia, Elena hosted a STEPN meetup that brought together around 25 members for a group walk followed by refreshments, creating space for runners and walkers to share their stories and connect in person.
Meanwhile in Bucharest, Romania, CioSilv and Ciprian joined the Crosul Arenelor marathon alongside members of the local STEPN community. After the run, participants gathered for a casual meetup, celebrating both the race and their shared passion for STEPN.
These events highlighted the global reach of the FSL ecosystem — from Europe’s marathons to city walks, the sense of community continues to grow stronger both online and IRL.
