STEPN
The Marathon Challenge rolled out across STEPN and STEPN GO, introducing a simple but demanding format that rewards players for showing up every day. By locking in 50 GGUSD, users join 14-day rounds where missing even one day means being eliminated, while those who complete every session share the pool from those who don’t make it. It is a clean, honest concept that rewards discipline and long-term engagement.

The launch of the Season Pass adds an optional premium track with additional rewards for players who want to take things further, leading into the STEPNathon scheduled for January. It gives users a shared finish line and shows that structure and purpose are just as motivating as rewards.
October also brought chaos in the best possible way through STEPN’s Halloween collaboration with Ubisoft’s Rabbids. Every Sneaker mint had a 50 percent chance to spawn one of four Rabbids Sneakers, turning a normal in-game process into pure mayhem. Some Rabbids even escaped into GG Boxes, extending the fun beyond the app.

Meanwhile, STEPNEMBER 4 wrapped up a month-long birthday celebration marking four years of STEPN and one year of STEPN GO. Over 50,000 participants took part in twelve storytelling Sneaker Skins, minting, enhancing, and solving clues for a Seed Phrase Hunt that awarded two winners prizes worth 7,000 USD each. It was a perfect snapshot of the community’s energy and creativity.
FSL
The TRICK OR TREAT campaign brought the first truly cross-product Halloween event to life. Halloween GGBoxes appeared everywhere, from running in STEPN and STEPN GO to trading on MOOAR, leveling in 2184, or simply holding GGUSD. Inside GGBoxes were special rewards including STEPN Genesis Sneakers, GMT Pay Cards, FSL merch coupons, and a few mysterious surprises that kept players guessing.

Dino Gotchi holders from the Sleepagotchi collaboration were also rewarded with exclusive Halloween GGBoxes, linking two very different communities together through shared collectibles.
FSL’s October activity also extended beyond its own products with 100 whitelist spots for Valannia, a fantasy MMO focused on player-owned economies. It was another example of how the ecosystem keeps creating entry points for new projects and players alike.
GMT Pay
The Mid-Autumn campaign was so popular it was extended for two additional weeks. Users who purchased GMT Pay Cards received GMT Pay GGBoxes containing surprise rewards such as an iPhone 17, STEPN Mooncake Sneakers, GGUSD, and APY boost coupons.

Later in the month, GMT Pay partnered with Sleap.io, giving cardholders a fifty-dollar discount on travel bookings made through a crypto-friendly platform that supports over one million hotels and 150 airlines. The partnership made using crypto in everyday life feel more accessible and practical, showing exactly where FSL Pay is headed.
GGUSD
GGUSD reached two important milestones in October: one million transactions and thirty million in trading volume. The Polygon Incentive Program also began, hiding APY Boost Coupons inside GGBoxes for Polygon GGUSD holders. These included 100 percent Silver and 300 percent Gold boost coupons, giving users playful reasons to engage with a stable asset.

2184
The launch of Budokai Mode marked a major milestone for 2184. Players could now enter daily tournaments to earn Martial Honor and work their way toward the Grand Final. Every Muddie received free Budokai tickets to start, and the feature quickly became a core part of the game.

October also introduced the EXP Purchase System, allowing players from Level 8 to 54 to buy experience directly and level up faster. Alongside the limited-time weapon Temporal Arcane Chains and a revamped Invitation System, these updates made gameplay feel sharper and more strategic.
The new Invitation System added a social layer to 2184. Players could invite friends to join the fight, with both sides earning rewards. Each player could bind up to three invitees, and as those invitees completed specific tasks, the inviter could claim items and Slime rewards.
Gas Hero Badge skills also received a major update. From Level 5, each exclusive skill now grants additional attribute bonuses, adding more depth to high-level battles and making combat feel smoother and more rewarding. Guild War registration also became automatic, ensuring no teams were left out.
Finally, the Temporal Arcane Chains returned for another limited run, offering new PvP options for creative fighters. The Lucky Pot reopened too, this time featuring not only player-listed items but also official Genesis Hero listings, giving everyone a chance at something special.
MOOAR
Project Callisto continued to unfold, taking the community from orbit to the unknown. Throughout October, new STEPN Sneakers - Alien, Saturn, Moon, and Black Hole - were introduced in consecutive weeks, each one expanding the Callisto universe with unique design and rarity.
The Moon Sneaker stood out with an exclusive auction of just 25 pairs, making it the rarest so far. Every participant in the weekly Callisto auctions received a GGBox, and those who hadn’t earned one before unlocked an exclusive STEPN in-app background - marking their place among the explorers of the Callisto mission.

The MOOAR x Sleepagotchi collaboration launched with a Raffle Mint, offering 50 whitelist spots to the MOOAR community for Sleepagotchi’s Dino Gotchis Free Mint - a 7,777-piece collection of dinosaur companions built around the idea of turning rest into rewards. The partnership reflected FSL’s vision of making wellness engaging and fun.

FSL Game Hub
Throughout October, FSL Game Hub kept users moving, guessing, and earning with a mix of fitness challenges, premium upgrades, and spooky fun.
The community celebrated World Walking Day, reminding everyone that every step counts - for health, mind, and planet. Meanwhile, new Merch Coupons dropped, giving users a chance to redeem real-world rewards using their in-app progress.
Mid-month, the spotlight shifted to the launch of the Premium Membership, FSL Game Hub’s own Battle Pass. Premium users unlocked extra Starlet caps, reward tracks, exclusive avatars, and the prestigious Premium Trophy - introducing a new way to earn from daily activity.

Then came Halloween week, turning the Hub into a haunted playground. A mysterious word puzzle had users collecting daily clues across X to uncover the hidden word “GHOST,” with exclusive Halloween GGBoxes waiting for those who cracked the code.
October closed on an adventurous note with the release of the Challenges feature - transforming every walk, jog, or run into an exploration across the FSL world, where players could earn badges, Starlets, and new milestones through their activity.
IRL Events
October 2025 was an active month for the STEPN community, highlighted by major running events across Europe. It began with the Brașov Running Festival in Romania on October 4, one of the world’s fastest road races. The event brought together over 60 elite athletes from more than 15 countries, 2,000 amateur runners, and 20,000 spectators. After the race, a STEPN meetup gathered community members for an engaging session with education, prizes, and discussions on how STEPN and STEPN GO use gamification to encourage active lifestyles.
Later in the month, STEPN joined more key events, including the Azuga Trail Race in Romania and the “Grandmother’s Tales” Trail in Grodno, Belarus. The Azuga Trail Race drew 2,500 runners and 1,500 visitors, offering a chance to introduce newcomers to the STEPN & GO ecosystem through presentations and giveaways. In Grodno, the fourth “Grandmother’s Tales” Trail united 730 participants, including 130 children, blending sport and local folklore. As an official partner for the second year, STEPN promoted its vision of combining movement, sustainability, and digital innovation, connecting real-world running with on-chain rewards.
