As 2024 nears its close, the FSL ecosystem has continued to push boundaries across its products, delivering major updates, collaborations, and exciting events. This month, STEPN, STEPN GO, MORCHI, Gas Hero, MOOAR, and FSL ID each showcased innovation, rewarding communities and setting the stage for an even brighter 2025.
STEPN
This month, STEPN announced the launch of the Polygon Realm, marking a significant step forward for users. By saying goodbye to Ethereum and transitioning to Polygon, the move brings smoother, faster, and more cost-effective gameplay experiences. With lower gas fees and quicker transactions, users can enjoy a better overall UI/UX. The migration also includes automatic bridging, ensuring ETH assets like Sneakers, Gems, GMT, eGST, Mystery Boxes, and Shoeboxes transition seamlessly into the new realm. Items listed on the ETH Marketplace will be automatically moved to users' POL spending accounts, while the ability to access and withdraw $ETH remains untouched. To celebrate this shift, STEPN launched an exclusive Polyguin Sneakers enhancement event, giving the community a chance to get their hands on these exclusive purple penguin skins.
Adding to this milestone, STEPN introduced updates to the Resilience Gem mechanics. Now, Rainbow Gem odds are doubled when upgrading Resilience Gems, across all levels. This update was coupled with a Discord burning event featuring a massive 20,000 GMT prize pool, bringing the community together for more burning and rewards.
STEPN GO
December was also a landmark month for STEPN GO with its first-ever physical shoe drop in collaboration with adidas. From December 13th to 17th, 1,200 limited-edition adidas Ultraboost 5 sneakers were raffled across four events. Genesis holders, X contest winners, and members of the adidas ALTS and STEPN and STEPN GO communities participated for a chance to win these iconic shoes. Winners were rewarded with an Ultraboost NFT Ticket, which can be traded on MOOAR from December 17th to January 6th. With physical claims beginning on January 6th, the event bridged digital components with tangible rewards, solidifying STEPN GO’ as a lifestyle-focused platform.
MORCHI
The MORCHI community enjoyed a thrilling event with the launch of Predictions, an interactive ticket-based challenge running from December 12th to 17th. Participants tested their instincts by predicting outcomes across multiple events, burning tickets to secure their share of an impressive 6.6 million $SUT prize pool. Designed with strategic gameplay in mind, participants could allocate tickets across 3 tiers—Common, Rare, and Legendary—to balance risk and reward. Those who predicted correctly joined the winning prize pool, while ticket burns added a layer of commitment and scarcity to the event.
For those holding Legendary MORCHI Heroes, MORCHI’s partnership with Sleepagotchi LITE added even more excitement. Players were able to claim MORCHI Heroes in the Telegram-based version of Sleepagotchi, participating in challenges to earn rewards and prepare for Sleepagotchi’s upcoming TGE. By combining gaming with strategic hero upgrades, the collaboration highlighted MORCHI’s growing presence across platforms.
Gas Hero
The world of Gas Hero 2184 continued to expand this December with a comprehensive look at weapons in the game. In battles, players learned how weapons—ranging from Basic to Special categories—are used and enhanced. Each weapon, whether heavy, standard, light, or thrown, plays a crucial role in combat, but once used in a battle, it cannot be reused in that round. Weapons paired with Weapon Spirits become even stronger, setting the stage for heroes to shine in combat. Players can acquire Basic Weapons through daily praying rituals using Slimes, while Special Weapons will be introduced in upcoming events.
Weapon enhancement mechanics were also revealed, allowing players to combine weapons to level them up, offering strategic choices in the process. To cap it off, the Weapon Naming Contest invited the community to create names and designs for eight weapons across the four categories. Running from December 13th to January 3rd, winners will receive GMT prizes and have their creativity immortalized in Gas Hero history.
December also saw the arrival of Evolved Heroes through a collaboration with Chain Colosseum Phoenix. The latest lineup includes dynamic warriors like Shogun, Phoenix, Ninja, Warrior, Samurai, and Sharman, each bringing unique identities and abilities to the game. This epic launch began on December 16th, inviting players to assemble their heroes and dive into new challenges.
MOOAR
MOOAR marked a significant milestone this month with the full FSL ID integration. This update enhances user experiences by streamlining access to MOOAR’s suite of features. FSL ID users now enjoy seamless benefits, including MOOAR+ memberships, XP earnings, FSL Points, and exclusive Raffle Mint rate-ups. Guest users, meanwhile, get a sneak peek into the platform’s potential, while external wallet holders can create unique FSL IDs to manage assets with ease. Players are reminded to transfer their Sneakers before January 1st to maintain streaks and maximize benefits.
Adding more cross-platform excitement, MOOAR collaborated with MORCHI and Sleepagotchi LITE, offering unique MORCHI Heroes as rewards for participants. By holding at least 1 GMT and verifying their assets, players unlocked Legendary MORCHI Heroes and joined a fresh gaming experience within Sleepagotchi’s Telegram-based campaign.
FSL ID
FSL ID rounded off the month with a series of festive events, ensuring users across the ecosystem could celebrate in style. The FSL Festive Points Chase, running from December 17th to 24th, encouraged users to earn FSL Points across STEPN, MOOAR, and Gas Hero to climb the leaderboard and win exclusive rewards. With a 25,000 GMT prize pool, Penguin-themed STEPN Sneakers, and soulbound Snow King NFTs for all participants, the event celebrated the community’s dedication throughout the year.
In addition to festive fun, FSL ID partnered with Plato to launch the Dine & Earn Quest, turning everyday meals into opportunities for rewards. From December 10th to 21st, participants could earn FSL Points and FAT Dollars by dining three times within ten days. This collaboration added a real-world utility layer to FSL ID, showcasing its versatility beyond gaming and digital spaces.
